The AHAF/AAHA 2003 Conference will
be held July 24-26, 2003 at The Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa,
California. The pre-conference workshop is on July 23 with a post conference
workshop on July 27.
Costa Mesa is halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles, California. It's a
scenic area close to the ocean with nearby tourist attractions such as
Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza and more. The Westin suites
are only $105/night and the rate is good for 2 days prior and 2 days after
the conference. Make reservations no later than June 24 and request the
AHAF rate by calling 714-662-6639.
The hotel offers a complementary shuttle to the John Wayne Airport which is
15-20 minutes from the hotel. The Los Angeles International Airport is
approximately 1.5 hours away (shuttle tickets are about $25 one way).
There will be a pre-conference workshop on July 23 with Maresi de Monchy and a
post conference workshop on July 27 with Milt Moore and JoNeal Scully.
